My Review -

We live in the 21st century, but still, so many people believed in superstitions and astrology. Sometimes they work as a hindrance in the path of love and happy life. The cover page is soothing. Sidereal Destiny by Vaishnavi Sanoj is based on the story of siblings Arpitha and Anand. Their mother, Latha, blindly trusts his astrologer's advice. Arpitha loves Aarush, and Anand loves Rashmi. Both choose inter-caste partners.

It breaks Latha's heart. The author portrays the Indian mindset towards love marriage, the inter-caste system, and astrological importance in a marriage. Due to Latha's blind faith, both siblings suffer pain, but I like how they stick to their decisions. Like any other Indian parent, Latha and Rashmi's father did all the emotional blackmail. We all experienced that moment when parents blame everything for mobile and movies. The jibe that you betrayed our trust is common, which makes the tale reflective and engaging. Arpitha and Anand share a special bond and support each other, but when it comes to love, marriage, and astrological prophecy, we see a new side of them. Aarush and Rashmi's character didn't get the needed space. Latha has a reason to be like this. She blames his father for all her misery. Will Latha ever change? Did the lovers reach their final destination? To know the answers, you need to read the book.

In India, the parents choose a potential bride or groom, and they want their children will abide by their decision like they did. Being an Indian, I do not encourage this mentality. If our parents are unable to stand against their parents, then that is their fault and cowardliness. They can't put their burden on us in the name of values and teachings. This story raises so many notions. Vaishnavi Sanoj puts a necessary twist in the story to hook the readers. I finished this book in a few hours and loved the smooth narration. For me, this book proves to be worthy of my time. I recommend this one.
