My Review -

Joseph L Gill's new book, The Rational Emotive Train, is based on spiritual and mental healing. It showcases that we all have the power to change by believing in ourselves and the Great Creator.

As the name suggests, the author narrates the whole story in a railroad setting. It is a train of thoughts that can make or break one's life. This book is for those who want to grow and ready to leave their fears and irrational beliefs behind.

As the train picks up its speed, the author delves into the various topics, but before that, he asked you to commit to a few pointers that are the crux of our living; the simple facts that we mostly avoid making others happy.

Like, if you don't have anything kind to say, don't say anything. Trust your choices and follow your instincts. There is a difference between learning to love yourself and actually practicing it. Always do your best, but don't overcompensate.

We all have two sides, positive and negative. Most of the time, we lost internal balance, and negative thoughts become a dominant part. It leads us to mental pain, a kind that only understands by that person.

If you're also one of those people, you know what I'm talking about, the constant battle that goes in our mind. Every day we fight with it; some days, we win; other times, we lose. We need a constant reminder and practice that we can slay the dragon of our irrational thoughts and this kind of books aid me, inspire me to do that.

The anger and anxiety parts of this book were my favorite. For a very long time, I'm dealing with these issues, and I know many of you are going through the same. With time, my rage subsides, not entirely gone, but I made significant progress, and I learn that there is a difference between anger and rage, and what I had was the rage, so thank you, Joseph L Gill, for bringing new awareness into my life.

As the author stated, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. If you're an atheist, then the book and its statements will contradict your current belief system.

For a very long time, I blame God for all the bad things that happened in my life and lost all the faith. But with time, I realized that everything happened for a reason, and I was not smart enough to comprehend at that time. This book revolves around the fact that you have to believe in yourself and the Great Creator in tough times.

The book deals with lots of emotionally and mentally stressful situations in a simple manner. The author's experience of being a therapist is clearly seen in his writing. I enjoy reading this short and fast-paced book. I recommend it to newbies, especially those who want to grab consciousness promptly and explicitly.
