Inkredia: Luwan of Brida

Book Review -

Luwan of Brida is the first book in the Inkredia series written by Sarang Mahajan. This fantasy story sets in a kingdom named Sivilik.

In Brida village lived our protagonist Luwan with his older sister Meg. Tormented by a tax collector, Luwan decided to step up and deny the payment, which led him to leave his village.

Due to Luwan's decision, Meg's life is also turned upside down, but they know that the threat is confirmed, and if they stay, they'll end up dead. But going to the city; into the unknown is also terrifying. Left with no other choice, they embark on this voyage but are chased by villagers and guards.

The most dreadful enemies were The Ghork Riders, whom Luwan read about in books and never thought they were real, but they are chasing him and Meg for unknown reasons. They need help, they need allies, and with the assistance of a mysterious book, they reach the door of Kiliarn.

Luwan, Meg, and Kiliarn - trio fought with many mythical creatures apart from the Riders. They form a bond but maintain secrets from each other, which makes the story more fascinating. The plot and narrative are fast-paced, with many action sequences that grab the reader's attention from beginning to end.

Sarang Mahajan laid a solid foundation for the upcoming books in the series, and I can't wait to read them. It has incredible beasts, mysteries, riddles, ancient secrets, and lots of drama. If you're a fan of fantasy novels, you must read this book. I highly recommend it.
