Q.1 Please introduce yourself - Where are you from? How long have you been blogging? What’s the name of your blog? What made you decide to start a book blog?
A. Hi, I’m Narges better known as Bunny, the mind behind the blog Books With Bunny. I’m from the United States, but more specifically, Oklahoma.

I started my book blog, because I wanted a space to share my love of books with others. Writing was always something I loved to do, so creating a book blog was an easy decision.
Q.2 What is your favorite genre and book?
A. I could state the obvious and say all genres because I think most readers are open to reading all types of books. But, personally I prefer YA fantasy and contemporary, or any type of mystery thriller. Not only are these the genres I gravitate towards most, but they are usually five star reads for me.
Q.3 What one piece of advice do you wish you’d had when you started book blogging?
A. This is solely for book reviewers, but after you read the book, write the review. I get so backed up on reviews that it’s hard to remember everything about the book. I’m getting better at writing my book reviews right after I finish the book since it is way less stressful.
Q.4 What piece of advice would you like to give to other bloggers?
A. Consistency is important, but quality trumps quantity. It is way more essential to put out content that you are proud of than sticking to some sort of blogging schedule. I’d rather read one well written blog post a week than five rushed ones.
Q.5 How many books are actually on your bookshelf/shelves right now?
A. I feel a little called out here, since I have a book buying problem. Just kidding. After a lot of counting, I have 274 books, granted I didn’t miss a book. Honestly, I don’t feel like that’s a horrible number. But let’s not talk about how many of those books are unread.
Q.6 If you could be a character from a book for just one day, who would you be and why?
A. The character that came to mind was Signa Farrow from Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. It’s funny because I didn’t really like her character, yet her power in the book was interesting. Also, the romance was fire! So, I’d be her for a day just to meet Death.
Q.7 Is blogging your profession or just a hobby? Does your family support you? What’s their take on this?
A. As of now, book blogging is my full-time “job”. But not in the traditional sense of the word because it is fun. It doesn’t fully support my family right now. Still, I do hope it will one day. I mean, who wouldn’t want to have a job that is fun and also be passionate about it. My loved ones are completely supportive of my blog, whether it is just a hobby or a full-time career.
Q.8 What do you think is the best strategy for getting more visitors to a blog?
A. This was something that took me a while to figure out, but I’ve found that Twitter is an amazing resource for bloggers. I hear so many great things about utilizing Pinterest, but when I was starting out, promoting my posts on Twitter really did help me gain traffic.
Q.9 What are the top 3 characteristics you look for in a good book?
A. Short chapters, fast-paced plot, and likable characters! I’m not someone that likes these slow books with a ton of world-building. I need the book to start off with a bang and keep up the momentum.

Having too many filler chapters (as I call them) that don’t really get the plot moving isn’t for me. And this might just be my thing, but short chapters just make a book feel like it’s going by quicker.
Lastly, having likable characters is probably an obvious one because I’m pretty nitpicky about characters. All of these things together might not always make a book a 5-star read, but I definitely have an enjoyable reading experience, which is usually what I hope to get out of every book I pick up.
Q.10 What are your favorite Instagram/Bookstagram/Booktuber accounts?
A. Hailey In Bookland was one of the very first Booktubers I ever watched! Her videos were so great back then, and they are still some of my favorites to watch now. On Bookstagram, my friend Ashley from @Offictionandfantasy always posts the most beautiful bookish pictures.
