Anchal Libro Review

Anchal

Q.1 Please introduce yourself - Where are you from? How long have you been blogging? What's the name of your blog? What made you decide to start a book blog?
A. I am from Delhi. However, I have traveled a lot in my childhood so I don’t really belong to one place. I was in Chennai, Dubai and now I live in Ahmedabad. I have been blogging for almost 1.5 years now. My blog’s name is Libro Review. As I was giving my 12th standard examination, I was lost in life. I did not know what I want.

I knew what gives me happiness - which is helping people, but I did not have a path. That is when I read my first book - The Alchemist. It taught me to believe in dreams. Then I read The Ultimate Gift, another easy-to-read book that made me grateful. Then I hopped to Think and Grow Rich that completely changed my mindset. That is why I thought that the world of books is magical, it can change lives, and I want to be the medium to drive people into that world. thus, I started this blog.

Q.2 What is your favorite genre and book?
A. My favorite genre is Non-fiction (Self-Help). However, Fiction also has played a big role in my life, and I still enjoy it. My favorite genres in Fiction are thrillers, fantasy, philosophical fiction, and dark fiction. Can’t name one favorite book, but if I have to - Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

Q.3 What one piece of advice do you wish you’d had when you first started book blogging?
A. I wish someone told me that you just have to focus on the quality of the value you provide to your followers, not the follower count or equipment. Efforts and hard work beat everything.

Q.4 What piece of advice you would like to give to other bloggers?
A. Be authentic because your followers rely on you, spend money, and time on books you advised them with. Also, don’t be scared, to be honest with your opinion, but don’t be rude.

Q.5 How many books are actually on your bookshelf/shelves right now?
A. Approximately 400-500.

Q.6 If you could be a character from a book for just one day who would you be and why?
A. Santiago from The Alchemist because I want to live the life of a traveler or Aristotle from Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe because so that I find Dante as my love. I want to be the girl version of Aristotle, by the way.

Q.7 Is blogging your profession or just a hobby? Does your family support you? What’s their take on this?
A. It is my profession and my family is supportive. They know I will do this anyway because it makes me happy, it is helping me grow, so they let me be with it, and also help me sometimes.

Q.8 What do you think is the best strategy for getting more visitors to a blog?
A. Quality communication is essential. You get more views when your content is being shared, and it will only be shared if there is a connection your audience feels with your content and you.

Q.9 What are the top 3 characteristics you look for in a good book?
A. Good Editing. Emotions. Character development. These three lead to a meaningful book for me.

Q.10 What are your favorite Instagram/Bookstagram/Booktuber accounts?
A. Many. There’s Nika from @Pretty LittleBibliophile and Fatima from @Books And Stories. They are so good.

A few words for our readers and Books Charming -
Books Charming is hardworking and genuine - it is something I discovered when I worked with them. For the readers - Reading is a gift and luxury the human race has been blessed with. You don’t have to read 100 books a year unless you are a book blogger, but reading is essential as a human being.
