Q.1 Tell us a little about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?
A. I am a farmer, homeschooling dad, entrepreneur, IT guy, freelancer, and the list could go on. In short, “jack of many trades, but master on none.”
Q.2 Are we going to read more from you in the near future? Any new project you’re working on?
A. I am working on 2 projects, one is on Artificial Intelligence and the other is on a generic subject. Not sure if I’d be able to finish either of it.
Q.3 Where do you get your ideas?
A. I get my ideas from current events and social causes. The exploitation and manipulation of men and nature pain me and I try to write about those.
Q.4 What advice do you have for writers?
A. When you start to write, let it flow, do not restrict yourself with boundaries. This is applicable to both fiction and non-fiction.
Q.5 Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
A. I am always original.
Q.6 If you could tell your younger writing self-anything, what would it be?
A. I would ask me to start writing, I never knew that I could be a writer someday.
Q.7 What are the most important magazines or websites for writers to subscribe to?
A. Frankly, I don't follow any particular magazine or website but browse through many as need be.
Q.8 As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
A. I would call on the guardian angel.
Q.9 Do you Google yourself?
A. Yes, while promoting the author in me, and my book, I also try to reduce my personal details available online.
Q.10 Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
A. I read my book reviews so far, I am blessed with good reviews only, I am happy about it and considers that as encouragement to write more.
Q.11 Does your family support your career as a writer?
A. My family supports me with constructive criticism and encouragement. Our source of bread does not come from my writing yet.
Q.12 What do your fans mean to you?
A. I don't believe in fans. I want my readers to accept my writing if it makes sense. I am just an instrument in spreading the truth, and in myself do not deserve any glory.
Q.13 How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
A. I have only one published book The all-seeing digital eyes. I am working on 2 more currently.
Q.14 Do you have any unique and quirky writing habits?
A. Not really. Since I write non-fiction, I do not get any mental block as such, but there are times when you feel really lazy.
Q.15 What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?
A. My best accomplishments are yet to come.
Q.16 What is the most unethical practice in the publishing industry?
A. I think marketing a book is a complicated affair, it takes a lot of effort from the author. I would not call it unethical, but no one really cares about the effort you put in to come up with a good book.
Q.17 Who edited your book and how did you select him/her?
A. I had 5 people edit the book on various aspects since my book covered many technical aspects, I had taken guidance from experts in the field.
Q.18 Which famous person, living or dead would you like to meet and why?
A. I do think of time travel, but in that case, it is not just about meeting a person but to correct a lot of wrongs in history.
Q.19 What is your favorite book and why?
A. My favorite books are The Da Vinci Code in fiction and A Brief History of Time in non-fiction. I used to be a light reader used to read Stephen King, Michael Crichton, John Grisham but all that was just foreplay.
I lost my virginity in reading to Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code” that book really opened up a different way of thinking. I was impressed by the way fiction was plotted and executed. The same thing happened to me with the movie The Matrix, in fact, you can see the influence of the movie if you look closely into my book.

Q.20 Share the experience of your journey so far?
A. It’s been a bumpy ride till date, lots of ups and downs. Overall, I am happy the way things are. Cheers!
